Bikers of the world unite.

Well! those in and around Pasadena & Los Angeles did!

At the end of 2013 Prism church community (http://www.prismchurch.com), in Pasadena, partnered with Oasis and organized a Bike-A-Thon to help fund the fight against Human trafficking. CRANC (https://www.facebook.com/CRANC213), a group that supports the cycling community of Los Angeles joined the event and together they rode through the streets of Pasadena dressed in tutu’s, fairy wings and cycle gear. See the pictures below.

The riders gathered personal sponsors and all together they raised over $3500.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all concerned. This was a great endeavor by Prism and CRANC and we would encourage others to follow their example. If you would like to know more contact kevin at kevin.potter@oasisusa.org or matt at matthew@prismchurch.com

Some of the finances raised will go towards starting & supporting TraffickFree Communities* within the USA.

*Traffick Free Communities consist of local people partnering and networking together to highlight and bring awareness to the areas in their community that are vulnerable to Human Trafficking. The TFC work’s together supporting local agencies, strengthening those areas of vulnerability and finding ways to, practically, care for victims and survivors of trafficking with the aim of helping people reintegrate back into a safe community life.
